A Middlesbrough-based commercial refurbishment specialist’s relationship with the largest family owned international facilities management company has led to a series of successful collaborations across the UK.

Those range from specialist communication systems installations through to major office refurbishments.

Wells CRS, co-owned by Garry Wells and David Murphy, have supported the building and technical division of OCS in projects across the country from Scotland to the south coast, from Ipswich to south Wales and for various high profile client.

Garry said: “What started with a project at Manchester Airport has now developed north into Newcastle and we are now a preferred contractor for OCS.

“We have worked on a plethora of sites, work has included office refurbishments, mechanical and electrical installations, flooring and data communications.

“We have worked with OCS now for almost six years. The relationship has got stronger and stronger since we have been introduced to other site managers across the country.”

Wells not only supports OCS with the minor and major projects, it also supports with the reactive maintenance requirements by going above and beyond to hold true one of its key pillars of customer service – that no job is to small and customer services is paramount.

Garry said: “As the relationship has grown we have become a preferred supplier of OCS, we often get a call to support the OCS directly employed team with specialist elements of projects, and within a short space of time we will have materials out and engineers in. We are the quick response from calls they often need.”

Wells are currently updating communications at a site in Ipswich for OCS having recently completed a high spec commercial bathroom fit there, where they have ongoing office refurbishment work.

There is a laboratory upgrade taking place near Wembley, north-west London, while Wells have completed a large office building refurbishment in Wales where they are also upgrading the flooring.

Wells will either operate as a principal partner on a specific site or take over projects to complete them for OCS.
