Middlesbrough-based Wells CRS are looking to strengthen their workforce after securing a series of prestigious contracts.

The commercial refurbishment specialists are particularly interested in skilled electricians and engineers who can contribute to their ongoing projects and help them meet the demands of a growing list of clients.

Wells have secured ‘tier one’ contract awards with Arriva Bus, Liberty Group and OCS Group for various projects. Other similar contracts are in the pipeline too.

This expansion marks a significant milestone for Wells CRS and reinforces its reputation as a trusted and reliable contractor in the North-East and across the UK.

Garry Wells, the co-owner of Wells CRS, said: “This is a fantastic development for the company. We have worked for more than a year in the background on adding to our client portfolio and this is a hugely exciting period for us.

“The hard work is paying off. It is not only satisfying to be given the seal of approval from some brilliant clients, but it’s also nice to know we are creating more roles by adding engineers to the team to work on the growing list of contracts we have.

Despite working across the UK, Wells CRS’ Teesside roots are at the very heart of what they do. From their headquarters at Mandale Business Park, Cannon Street, the company are looking to build their team.

Garry added: “Myself and David Murphy (co-owner) believe in employing people and apprentices from our own areas, although this is not always possible because our work areas have become much larger and more frequent.

“We currently work with our local colleges to identify engineering opportunities for the young engineering talent out there and we are currently looking for various new additions.”

Arriva Bus

Having been a tier one contractor for Arriva Bus for many years, covering all electrical works/projects throughout the UK, Wells CRS is currently busy surveying many depots ahead of a national welfare facility upgrade project.

Liberty Group

Wells CRS are completing domestic and commercial building works for the leading national property service business, including works for their social housing clients, such as rewires, void works, maintenance tasks and out of hour call outs. This currently covers the whole of the North of England.

OCS Group

Wells CRS have been a contractor for facilities management company OCS for many years, covering many client sites across the UK. Additionally, though, and most recently, Wells have been awarded main contractor status at the Molson Coors’ largest brewery in Europe at Burton-on-Trent.
