'We give a little festive cheer back to the Ingleby Barwick community each year'

The Myton House Farm has been lit up by Wells CRS

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at a Teesside pub.

The Myton House Farm in Ingleby Barwick, Stockton-on-Tees, is full of festive cheer thanks to Wells CRS and Ingleby Barwick Community Partnership.

The area’s commercial refurbishment specialists, owned by Garry Wells and David Murphy, have lit up the popular venue for a number of years every time the area prepares for Santa’s visit.

And Wells CRS – who operate throughout the country – have done it again and these photographs of Myton House Farm from the ground and above look special.

Garry said: “We have taken great pride in being able to give a little festive cheer back into the Ingleby Barwick community.

“It is a relationship that first started when Wells installed the new electric supplies to the external areas in 2016. Those used to be removed every year but recently they remain in place ready for many other events over the year.

“Even I usually get my fingers cold setting up the display while David tends to stand back, admire and takes the pictures of me at work.”

Wells provide the engineers free of charge every year to add the Christmas lights to all the areas, including the huge festive trees.

And Garry said: “I would just like to take this opportunity on behalf of us all at Wells CRS to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.”

Ingleby Barwick Community Partnership’s events are led each year by Independent Cllr Ted Strike.

Ted said: “A big thank you to Garry Wells and his team who installed the foundations for our first Christmas tree eight years ago today.

“What an amazing job they did too because the tree survived one of the worst storms this country has had when Storm Arwin arrived here last year – and many others.”
