Completed: Stockton management suite for Knight Frank

A NEW Management Suite at Stockton-on-Tees’ Wellington Square shopping centre has been created.
Knight Frank, which runs the area on behalf of Stockton Borough Council, have used Middlesbrough-based Wells CRS to oversee and carry out the work.
This has led to Wells taking on more plumbers and multi-skilled engineers, with a plan to expand further.
The new Wellington Square suite is above Bluecorn Bakery and is utilising 180sqm of unused space.
The new facility suite will mean the Management team now has an open plan office space, a boardroom and a separate office space and breakout room. There has also been a new welfare facility created with a staff kitchen and new toilet facilities.
“It’s been a fantastic project to be working on for Knight Frank,” said Wells CRS’ co-owner David Murphy.
“Part of the existing building was a concrete shell and it had been like that since the centre opened 21 years, so to see it now as a management suite is fantastic.

“In Wellington Square there are parts of buildings that have never been used and this takes advantage of that space.
“It follows on from last year when we helped Elizabeth’s Embroidery move from one unit to another – and we had to install a new steel staircase to get access to the top floor.”
David said: “We have been working alongside Knight Frank for a number years on various sites in London, which has now extended onto our home turf Stockton. We are tendering for work with them on a regular basis and this is the latest extension of the partnership we have.”
David added: “Our relationship is getting stronger and stronger locally. Knight Frank are becoming one of our biggest clients in our local area with our relationship going from strength to strength.”
Matt Boxall, Centre Manager, at Wellington Square said: “The new office isn’t just for the Management team, we will be using it to bring all our tenants together as we introduce regular training seminars and meetings.
“We were also eager to retain and recycle as much as we can from Castlegate to keep sustainability at the top the agenda for Wellington Square” added Matt.
